So, I just finished my live reporting and media coverage duties for Somuchpoker.com at Jeju for the KPC x King Poker Cup series, which went on for a 17-day marathon. A lot happened in the following days since I first gave out my early report on my first week in the series. Daniel Neilson Daniel Neilson won the Sovereign 50K event for a career-best score of USD 1,006,000 and had one of the best title celebrations ever caught on livestream. You can watch the final table or just scroll to the end to see what I'm talking about. Neilson defeated Sean Ooi  on the final heads-up, which was retribution from when Ooi defeated Nelson heads-up in a Single Day High Roller event just a few days prior. Of course, this one just had a juicier pot up top. Punnat Punsri Punnat Punsri  also won the last event of the series, capturing the final  Single Day Super High Roller of the series. Punsri had so many final tables, but finally bagged a championship on the last day to take it to the...

With Tom "Durrrr" Dwan So... We're writing this now from Jeju Island, South Korea, where the K Poker Cup x King Poker Cup Series is taking place from July 25 to August 10. I've been here for a week and - as usual - it's always great to see familiar faces of the poker industry. First off, the very awesome tournament and floor directors - Cris, Jerry, Harry, Joker and the other Philippine crew who were shocked that I too was Filipino. LOL Then, there are the familiar players, who have become friends over time - Punnat Punsri, Tom Verbruggen, Jun Li, Joseph Cheong, Dylan Foster, Tony"Baby Tiger" Ren Lin, Ryan Plant, Wai Kiat Lee, Danny Tang .... and drum roll - Daniel Neilson . I've been a fan of Daniel Neilson since once upon a time in  APT Manila when he won ...

I'm DONE! My work for APT Jeju 2025 as a live reporter/writer/media correspondent is done on Day 9. There's still one more day to go, but while they continue grinding on the felt, I am headed back home. Anyway, I've been writing poker hands, recaps, intros ... a lot of things that go behind sharing information about the APT Jeju 2025 series... 9 DAYS OF IT! This now - at nearly 3AM - with a ride to the airport scheduled at 6AM is my ME time. I've caught up with my articles at Life of Poker and I just wanted to share this moment to be thankful for this opportunity to strengthen friendships, make new ones and also further my professional status in this wonderful world of poker. Thank you, of course, to the guys behind APT - my colleagues, my employers, my team, my friends. It's always a pleasure to work with you. I'm not the most perfect - was reminded of that by Ben and Fred with the sinful booboo I wrote in one of my posts... but hey, life moves on and, in th...
