F1 Turkey Grand Prix Betting: Can Mark Webber Make It Three In A Row?
The qualifying stage for the 2010 F1 Turkey Grand Prix at Istanbul just ended, and Mark Webber of Red Bull Renault snatched pole position with Lewis Hamilton of McLaren-Mercedes just right behind in the second spot. Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Renault bags the third spot on the grid with Jenson Button of McLaren-Mercedes just behind on the 4th spot.
It's Mark Webber's fourth pole position in qualifying in six races, and he's already won two races in Spain and most recently in Monaco. Certainly, Mark Webber will be a heavy favorite to make it three staight, and extend his lead in the F1 World Drivers Championship standings. With everything falling into place for Mark Webber, it certainly looks likely that Mark Webber CAN make it three in a row with a win in Istanbul.
I'm personally excited to see what Michael Schumacher of Mercedes GP will be able to do as he starts the race in 5th position. The Mercedes GP car might not be as fast the Red Bull Renault or the McLaren-Mercedes, but certainly the former F1 World Champion could give the young guns up front a run for their money should they commit some costly errors.
The performance of Ferrari has been quite disappointing with Felipe Massa sitting all the way back at 8th spot on the grid and Fernando Alonso way back in the 12th slot. Perhaps Fernando Alonso might go up a few spots to earn some points, but it's almost improbable for him to drive his way to a podium finish in the 2010 F1 Turkey Grand Prix.
My money's on Mark Webber to win it.
