I was browsing around qualifiers for a 2010 WSOP Main Event seat, and came across the promotions of the ESPN Poker Club.
On a daily basis, you are given $1,200 (play money), which you can use to play in the ESPN Poker Club poker room for a chance to win a seat to the 2010 WSOP Main Event. In order to qualify, you have to play the Sunday qualifier for a chance to win a seat. Before you get to the Sunday qualifier, you must accumulate 60 points, which you can do by: (1) playing 1,500 hands in any ring game; (2) winning 10 single table tournaments; (3) win one multi-table tournament; or (4) finish in the top 20 of the Daily Big Play tournament.
Hopefuls will have an entire week to accumulate their 60 points to enter in the Sunday qualifier.
In the Sunday qualifier, the top 25 will be entered in the Final Tournament, which will be held on Sudnay, June 20, 2010 at 8PM ET (June 21, 2010 8AM, Manila Time). The top winner in the Final Tournament will then get a chance to win a grand prize package to the 2010 WSOP Main Event.
It's not that easy, but if your poker is good enough, then you'll definitely have a chance.
