2010 NBA Finals: LA Lakers Dominate Boston Celtics In Game 1

The Los Angeles Lakers easily cleared the +5.5 point spread given to the Boston Celtics, winning Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Finals at the Staples Center with a score of 102-89. Kobe Bryant socred 30 points, going OVER the 29.5 mark that oddsmakers gave him. Ron Artest had 15 points and 4 rebounds to go OVER the 15.5 mark in total points and rebounds set by the oddsmakers. Rajon Rondo had 13 points and 8 assists, and went UNDER the 26.5 mark for total points and assists assigned by oddsmakers. I guess my picks were right after all in all those bets!

However, I did fail in the total number of three point shots made. I expected that with all the quality three-point shooters out there, they would make OVER 12 total three pointers. However, the Boston Celtics shot a poor 1 of 10, and the Los Angeles Lakers had 4 of 10, but concentrated on attacking the basket. 5 three pointers throughout the game is way off the mark.

Four bets right, one bet wrong. Three bets winner. Not bad. Let's see what the oddsmakers throw us for Game 2 of the 2010 NBA Finals.
