2010 WSOP: Joshua Tieman Wins Event #6 $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Shootout

Six players had conquered their tables in Day 1, and in Day 2 to enter into the final table of Event #6 $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Shootout of the 2010 World Series of Poker. Eventually, it was poker pro Joshua Tieman from Kildeer, Illinois, who finally bagged his first WSOP bracelet and a first place cash prize of $440K. Joshua Tieman had a 7-to-1 chip lead over Neil Channing during heads-up play, and it only took a dozen hands before Tieman cracked Channing to win the event.

Neil Channing of the UK started the table with the short stack, but managed to make his way to second place to earn $270K for his efforts. Stuart Rutter of the UK finished at third to earn $179K. Joseph Elpayaa ran a marathon seven hours heads up the day before to get his spot at the final table, but fell at fourth place to earn $125K. Nicolas Levi busted at 5th to win $92K, and Brent Hanks was the first man out at 6th place to win $71K.
