Resorts World Manila To Host Satellites for 2010 Asian Poker Tour



The Asian Poker Tour will be holding the 2010 APT Philippines Main Event in August 23rd to August 29, 2010 at the Resorts World Manila.

As the official venue of the 2010 Asian Poker Tour, Resorts World Manila will be hosting a series of satellites to the main event, which will have a buy-in of $2500 +$200 with a $2 Million guaranteed prize pool. The satellite series is aptly called the RWM Satellite Series.

One of the first major qualifiers if the RWM Satellite Series PHP 500K Guaranteed. This satellite will deal at 2PM on Sunday, June 13th with a buy-in of Php 5,000 + Php 500.

The tournament champion will win Php 40,000 in cash pus a seat to the APT Philippines 2010 Main Event worth $2,700. Players who finish second to fifth will get another shot at the main event as they qualify for the RWM Satellite Series Finale to be held on August 21, where at least TEN main event seats are guaranteed. The RWM Satellite Series Finale will have a buy-in of Php10,000 + Php1,000.

Apart from these prizes, the top eighteen players of the RWM Satellite Series 5OOK Guaranteed will also receive cash prizes.

The structure of payouts is as follows:

1st - Php 40,000 plus 1 seat to APT Philippines 2010 Main Event
2nd - Php 79,000 plus 1 seat to RWM Satellite Series Finale
3rd - PHp 34,000 plus 1 seat to RWM Satellite Series Finale
4th - Php 24,000 plus 1 seat to RWM Satellite Series Finale
5th - Php 19,000 plus 1 seat to RWM Satellite Series Finale
6th - Php 25,000
7th - Php 20,000
8th - Php 15,000
9th - Php 10,000
10th - Php 9,000
11 to 12th - Php 8,500
13 to 15th - Php 7,000
16 to 18th - Php 6,000

bigmama222, It doesn't say on their website, but I was very sure that the tournament organizers announced it during the Resorts World Inaugural Tournament. Really.
