For Game 1 of the 2010 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics are given a +5.5 by the oddsmakers. I think that's pretty generous, considering that their games have been close and down the wire throughout this season. But can the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics at home by 6 points?
Well, if it all goes as planned, I suspect that the Los Angeles Lakers will have a two-possession single digit lead in the last two minutes, and the Boston Celtics will have to resort to fouling in the penalty to try and trim the lead. And as long as the Los Angeles Lakers make their free throws, then it should be easy enough to end the game up by six.
